Wednesday wish list: Motel

Going away on holiday should be a time to wind down and relax but I know that the time leading up to going away is most definitely not any of those things! In fact packing has to be the bane of my life and normally ends up with me writing thousands of lists just so I don't forget anything to then loose the lists and be left in a panic anyway. So it got me thinking, there must be a much easier way to pack without completely losing your marbles before you've even left the country!
So I've decided to test this theory by browsing through Motel's online collection in order to find great pieces that could be transformed from day to night with just a few carefully selected accessories, whilst also thinking about that dreaded case weigh in at the airport. Let's face it there's nothing worse than being overcharged for that extra 10 pairs of shoes that you just don't need, so here's to being a savvy shopper whilst still looking effortlessly fashionable.
Playsuits
Such a practical piece that can be dressed up for the night time with a pair of heels and a skinny waist belt, or casually styles with a pair of trainer pumps and a rucksack.

Dresses
Lightweight and guaranteed to make you feel a little more lady like, a dress is perfect for daytime site seeing, but you also won't look out of place at a bar.

Skirts
Pair with a tucked in tee for the day time and rock a crop top or a bandeau top in the evening.

Shorts
Great for a day on the beach over the top of your bikini or swimming costume or paired with a strappy or cropped top during the evening.

Remember Motel offer 20% student discount on all purchases along with UK free delivery and returns!

What does your holiday staple wardrobe consist of? Have you ever bought anything from Motel before?

Celebs wearing our brands!

Over the past few weeks some of our brands have been spotted on a range of celebs! We don't normally blog about this kind of press but we thought some of you might be interested in seeing which of your favourite celebs are rocking your favourite brands :)

The beautiful Kimberley Walsh was seen wearing her Holocene bomber jacket from Lashes of London last week, and we think she looks amazing! Very Spring/Summer. Also spotted in Lashes is MTV presenter Lilah Parsons wearing this stunning silver dress to a recent premiere.

One of our favourite celebes of the moment, Millie Mackintosh, has been spotted wearing In Love With Fashion numerous times recently. She's a big fan of the brand! And Little Mix's Perrie Edwards has been seen wearing this fun playsuit by Love.

Another brand who is often seen on some of the worlds most influential fashionista's is Motel. Recently their Motel letters print crop top was used on a photoshoot by Little Mix's Leigh-Anne.

Do celebrities influence your fashion or where you buy your clothes from?

Wednesday Wishlist: Motel

I don’t know about you, but week after week I find myself creating endless lists of items that I’m currently loving and would somewhat wish to add to my wardrobe. This week’s wishlist comes from none other than Motel Rocks. As you can probably tell, the pieces I chose have a 90s feel to them, a trend which I’m very excited about.

Motel Lomas Sleeveless Playsuit in Black
What I mostly love about this playsuit is the fact that it can be dressed up or down. For a day time look, it can be worn with a denim jacket, flats and maybe a studded satchel. When it comes to night time, this playsuit can be worn with a salt and pepper jacket and chunky heeled boots. A gold or silver chunky chain necklace would finish off the outfit perfectly.

This tee is perfect for the coming Spring/Summer season, and would look great tucked in black denim hot pants or black high waisted jeans. Team with a pair of cut-out boots and bright red lips, and you’re ready to go.

This black denim jacket is very grungy, and that’s one of the main reasons why I fell in love with it the minute I saw it on the Motel website. I would definitely wear it with a plain white tee, black denim jeans and black boots. To accessorise this outfit, I would opt for a number of silver above the knuckle rings, and maybe a ying yang charm necklace to continue with the grungy and monochrome look.

This blue paisley print playsuit is not something I usually wear (in terms of colours) as I generally tend to wear dark and monochrome pieces rather than light coloured ones, which I’m sure you realised by now! I am allowed to dress in a more ‘girly’ way sometimes though, right? This vintage inspired playsuit would look great worn with just a pair of sandals and no jewellery, so that all the focus would be on it’s lovely print, colours, and cut.

The last item on my Motel wishlist is this tie dye print dress. I love how versatile it is, in that it can be worn as a dress, as a tee tucked into a pair of trousers, shorts or skirt, or even worn as a long tee. I would probably prefer to wear it as a dress though, and would team it with my all-time favourite pair of boots – the Jeffrey Campbell Everest. Again, I wouldn’t wear any jewellery with this dress as there’s already so much going on with its pattern in my opinion.

What do you think of this wishlist? Are any of these items on your wishlist too?

Wedneday Wishlist by London & Coffee

This weeks Wednesday Wishlist is featuring the brand Motel, this shop has an immense number of amazing pieces with an edgy, on-trend style! It's really worth having a look at and spending lots of money!
The wishlist could be labelled as "Dark Vibes" because it creates a rather gloomy athmosphere consisting of black smoke print trousers, studded biker jackets and skirts as well as a monochrome top.

What do you think of these pieces and of Motel in general?
Do you like the rather darkish feeling or do you prefer light colours?

Fashion is like a turning wheel, eventually, all trends are repeated. This season is all about the Nineties, with dungarees, neon colors, comic and tie dye patterns, denim, sneakers and backpacks! Color, color and more color! What’s up Prince of Bel-Air? People from the 21th century can rock the 90’s style too!

Wednesday Wishlist: Motel by Cole

Hello lovelies!

I'm Cole and I blog over at coleoftheballl33.blogspot.co.uk, today I'm writing a Motel wishlist. I love absolutely everything on Motel but today I thought I would go for some pieces I'd love for spring/summer or whenever it gets warm here in England.

I chose the crop top and skater skirt as I thought they would be amazing for a summer party they are so bright and lovely. I chose the dresses because they are so simple and elegant, I thought they could be dressed up or down. This is what I picked the litas and the gorgeous statement necklace for they can really add the edge to an outfit.I then picked something more on the casual side. I love the tiger top and think it would love fab thrown on over a bikini. The last item I picked are the gorgeous mint green striped shorts I love these so much and just looking at them reminds me of summer!

I hope you enjoyed my wishlist!

Thank you to the lovely people at e-tail for letting me guest post on there fabulous blog hopefully I will see some of you on my blog sometime.
