Wednesday wish list by Lorilee

As I am going on holiday soon I started to pack my bag and wonder if I had everything I needed as I started throwing items in my suitcase. I thought I had achieved enough for that day and started trawling the internet for the best place to buy holiday money and I got distracted and started dreaming up a holiday wish list. If weight and size restrictions on baggage were completely wiped I would firstly take a hold luggage rather than being a cheap skate and only taking hand luggage to save the £30 it is to have it in the hold. A 2 week holiday with only hand luggage is achievable, right?

I would take these items on holiday

  1. Love Blue and White Striped Skater Dress £38 from In Love with Fashion
  2. Red Strap Sandal Flatform £28 from Oh My Love
  3. Embroidered Strappy Sun top £22 from Topshop
  4. Tie Waist Short Beige £22 from A X Paris
  5. White Flatforms £24.99 from H & M
  6. Red Hearthrob Sunglasses £6 from Oh My Love
  7. Disty Floral Print Beach Bag £6 from Matalan
  8. Soltan Moisurising Suncare Lotion SPF50 £4.49 from Boots
  9. Floral Elasticated Strap Maxi Dress £30 from A X Paris
  10. Place in the Sun Hat £26.58 from Seafolly

My day outfit for sights - when you are on holiday most people relax at the beach and also go out on day trips to see the sights in the local area. I would wear the embroidered strappy sun top paired with the tie waist beige shorts and the white flatform sandals. When seeing the sights you need to be comfortable and have clothes which have light weight fabric as moving around looking at things can get uncomfortable when you are wearing the wrong clothes. These shoes are stylish and flat leaving you to be comfortable and look fashionable at the same time.

My day outfit - For the beach I would slip on my swimsuit under the maxi dress as it is easily removable and can be thrown into your beach bag. This would also go well with the white sun hat and flatforms.

My night outfit - I am absolutely in love with this Love blue and white striped skater dress, it looks so elegant and has lovely cut out detail on the front and the back. It would be great to wear in the evenings when going out for a meal or enjoying the bars. I would wear this dress with the red strap sandal flatforms and the red hearthrob sunglasses.

All of these looks will need sun cream worn with them as you need to be protected from the sun as being sunburnt on holiday is not pleasant.

All of the items I have picked are interchangeable and its great when you take items like that on holiday with you as it saves on space in your luggage.

What would be your holiday wish list?
Would you take any of the items I have chosen?

Wednesday Wishlist: Maxi Dresses

1. Ax Paris - £40
2. Chi Chi - £39.99
3. Lashes of London - £95
4. Ax Paris - £35
5. Chi Chi - £49.99

With upcoming holidays just around the corner for many of us in the etailPR office we thought we'd centre this weeks 'Wednesday Wishlist' post around the maxi dress!
Perfect for holidays and Summer in general, there are many beautiful maxi dresses on the market. In particular both Chi Chi and Ax Paris offer a wide range of lovely styles. We particularly love this underwater themed Chi Chi bandeau one (2).

Also, not forgetting Lashes of London! Their 'Juniper' dress pictured here in the middle, is one of their best selling items. With a gorgeous, multi coloured, chiffon bottom and bandeau white cotton top it would make the perfect beach attire. We can just picture ourselves strolling across a stunning, sandy beach as the sun is setting... ahh! We can only dream right now.

Are you a fan of the maxi dress?

Wednesday wish list: Bare necessities

1. Teens Pale Blue Sleeveless Denim Jacket - £12.99 (NEWLOOK)
2. OPI When Monkeys Fly! 15ml - £11.50
3. FLISS EMBELLISHED SANDALS - £45.00 (TOPSHOP)
4. Reverse Skater Skirt In Neon Abstract Print - £28.00 (ASOS)
6. ASOS Across Body Bag With Scallop Plate Detail - £17.50

Bare necessities

Staring at the whopping 60X40 suitcase my mum (of all people) told me to pack I was ex-frickin-static! Because after all, more space = more clothes. Which means a better wardrobe wherever I go, who's complaining! :P
Not me! ... Well that was until I actually started the packing process. Somehow no matter how I squeezed and twisted and crammed all my possessions, the stupid suitcase still overflowed!! So that's when I decided to take out the old pad and paper and jot down the bare essentials for the trip on my laptop. Which of course accidentally led me to Asos, Topshop ILWF, and many other stores... Ooops! Although all trawling through the online shops left me low as I was reminded that as a student funds are low, there is a glimmering lining to these serendipitous finds!!! I now know exactly what I want in my summer wardrobe! yaaay!
Sooo I'll share with you my holiday hot list for this spring/summers holiday essential buys.

Wednesday Wishlist: Ax Paris Curve

As a plus size woman, shopping for outfits to wear to events and occasions can sometimes be a little tricky. I want something that will fit me well, but simultaneously be bang on trend. Enter the AX PARIS Curve range. Their dresses are absolutely gorgeous, and their fit is impeccable. Here is my wishlist for their latest pieces!
    1.
    PVC COLLAR CHIFFON TOP £25
LASER CUT PU SCALLOP SKIRT £30
Sheer AND PVC? It’s sexiness personified. The length of the hem on the skirt stops it look too trashy, and the intricate laser cutting pattern brings a little femininity to the style. It’s androgynous enough for anyone who isn’t a girly girl.

    2.
CHIFFON JEWEL MAXI DRESS WAS £60 NOW £29.99
This strapless dress would be perfect for a night out on holiday. The extra sparkle added around the sweetheart neckline brings attention to the top half, and the skirt is flowing and hip-skimming; both aspects perfect for a pear shaped beauty!

    3.
    JEWL CHIFFON MAXI £55
Similar to the strapless maxi dress, the addition of straps just give that extra bit of support, so perfect if you have a larger bust. Black can always be accessorised to whichever trend is in that season, so this dress would be a great investment piece!

    4.
NUDE DROP BACK CHIFFON ROUCHE FRONT DRESS £45
The high-low hem doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, and this gorgeous nude strapless dress is just the perfect balance of frothy girlyness with a tough edge. Team with killer heels and a clutch bag, and your Saturday night outfit is sorted.

    5.
EMBELLISHED CHIFFON HALTER NECK DRESS £60
Halter necks are great for anyone with wider shoulders, particularly wider straps like on this dress. The detailing around the midriff crosses over, giving a streamlined silhouette, nipping and pulling in where needed.

    6.
BONDED LACE SPLIT MESH DRESS £45
This dress is absolutely stunning. Lace is a huge trend this season and this dress has just the right amount, taking it from sweet to sexy. Combined with a sheer half skirt on the back, giving fluidity to the dress, allowing it to move around your body, this dress is the perfect confidence booster. Team it with a red lip and a messy topknot to add more oomph!

    7.
PLEAT EMBELLISHED KEY HOLE DRESS £60
This is the ultimate grecian goddess inspired dress. The blush colour is right on trend, and looks gorgeous on all different types on skintones. The key hole detailing reveals just the right amount of bare skin, making it demure enough for a fancy occasion.

    8.
    SWEETHEART NECKLINE LACE DRESS £32
The lace detailing on the shoulders and arms allows the skin underneath to peek through, giving it a glamourous, sexy aesthetic. The sweetheart neckline is ultra flattering, and if the length of the dress puts you off, you can always wear it with a knee length pencil skirt. Vamp it up with big hair and big shoes!

    Wednesday Wishlist: Lashes of London

I was fortunate enough a little while ago to get my hands on the quick selling gorgeous Ramona embellished dress by Lashes of London.

The embellished shoulders are hand stitched this definitely makes the dress 100% more unique as the attention to detail is fantastic. The dress itself is a shift dress with shoulder pads and a concealed back zip, the fit is slightly larger to size and i would suggest dropping a size if you are after a bodycon fit.

I have only worn the dress on one occasion so far and the amount of attention it attracted was astounding, so if you want to make a bold style statement and have all eyes on you for the evening this is definitely the dress you need. I just need to find more reasons to wear it, maybe a trip to the shops just because i can (of course there maybe some odd looks)

Lashes of London have launched their new S/S 13 Look Book so i have picked out a few of my favourite pieces to tempt you all to head over and have a look at Lashes of London.com

My favourite trend for this season is pastel colours so the dress is my number one Spring must have and along with the cut away detail it ticks all the boxes. The Parma cropped tee will look gorgeous with the PU skirt to mix up textures.

    Wednesday Wishlist: Forever Unique

I'm a girl who loves trends, but I hesitate to invest too much money in trendy pieces, for fear that they may soon go "out of style." These six wishlist items from Forever Unique incorporate a few popular trends, without going overboard! They could easily be paired with the classic pieces that are already in your closet. It's a win/win!

    1. Selfish by Forever Unique T-shirt: I have a soft spot for sheer shirts. This classic black t-shirt can be left loose or tucked in, showing a little bit of skin. £55.00
    2. Selfish by Forever Unique Fitted Skirt: I'm not brave enough to rock white bottoms, but if I was, I'd snatch this studded skirt up in a flash! £65.00
    3. Selfish by Forever Unique High Waisted Shorts: Now these shorts are definitely something I could work with. I love the high waist, and studs are still all the rage. £55.00
    4. Selfish by Forever Unique Clutch Bag: Bright colors are always in for Spring. This funky, teal clutch adds a nice pop of color. £35.00
    5. 4U by Forever Unique JumperThis jumper combines a few popular trends: cut-outs and skulls. I don't own a top like this, but I love the surprise detailing on the back. £70.00
    6. Forever Unique Leatherette Hard Box Evening Handbag: This handbag was the first item to make it to my wish list. This has Alexander McQueen written all over it. And I love it! It's got studs, it's got skulls, and it's got sparkle. Does it get better than that? £70.00

    Wednesday Wishlist: Oh My Love

When I found Oh My Love online shop, I was impressed! I found so many ''it'' pieces for spring/summer and the best part is that they are very affordable. My favourite are dresses and pants, especially those with flower print!

Wednesday Wishlist: Spring Fling by Cherry!

Wearing bright, pastel colours really puts you into a good mood and I'm loving all of the clothing that's currently in stock.

This spring/summer I'm aiming to branch out a bit and really be creative with my wardrobe. I'm terribly sick of wearing jeans all of the time and seem to have got stuck in a bit of a clothing rut. I pretty much adore the polka dot pleat dress I've picked - it's like nothing I've seen online yet, I think it's cheerful and pretty and perfect for a summer's day or even a special occasion teamed with some nude heels. Gorgeous!

Nude shades are really popular at the moment and it's a great way to ease yourself in to spring colours. While it might be getting warmer there is the odd day that's a bit chilly so I always opt for some spring knitwear that you can just throw on casually. Will you be wearing nude and pastel shades this year?

    Wednesday Wishlist: Motel

I don’t know about you, but week after week I find myself creating endless lists of items that I’m currently loving and would somewhat wish to add to my wardrobe. This week’s wishlist comes from none other than Motel Rocks. As you can probably tell, the pieces I chose have a 90s feel to them, a trend which I’m very excited about.

Motel Lomas Sleeveless Playsuit in Black
What I mostly love about this playsuit is the fact that it can be dressed up or down. For a day time look, it can be worn with a denim jacket, flats and maybe a studded satchel. When it comes to night time, this playsuit can be worn with a salt and pepper jacket and chunky heeled boots. A gold or silver chunky chain necklace would finish off the outfit perfectly.

This tee is perfect for the coming Spring/Summer season, and would look great tucked in black denim hot pants or black high waisted jeans. Team with a pair of cut-out boots and bright red lips, and you’re ready to go.

This black denim jacket is very grungy, and that’s one of the main reasons why I fell in love with it the minute I saw it on the Motel website. I would definitely wear it with a plain white tee, black denim jeans and black boots. To accessorise this outfit, I would opt for a number of silver above the knuckle rings, and maybe a ying yang charm necklace to continue with the grungy and monochrome look.

This blue paisley print playsuit is not something I usually wear (in terms of colours) as I generally tend to wear dark and monochrome pieces rather than light coloured ones, which I’m sure you realised by now! I am allowed to dress in a more ‘girly’ way sometimes though, right? This vintage inspired playsuit would look great worn with just a pair of sandals and no jewellery, so that all the focus would be on it’s lovely print, colours, and cut.

The last item on my Motel wishlist is this tie dye print dress. I love how versatile it is, in that it can be worn as a dress, as a tee tucked into a pair of trousers, shorts or skirt, or even worn as a long tee. I would probably prefer to wear it as a dress though, and would team it with my all-time favourite pair of boots – the Jeffrey Campbell Everest. Again, I wouldn’t wear any jewellery with this dress as there’s already so much going on with its pattern in my opinion.

What do you think of this wishlist? Are any of these items on your wishlist too?

Wednesday Wishlist by Laura at I Like Crayons

    001.bag, 002.blouse, 003.coat, 004.skirt, 005.ring, 006.shoes

Happy Wednesday everyone! I've composed a bit of an outfit within a wishlist for you today. I decided to go for a really pretty, classy and girly spring look with a bit of a difference- mixing cute pastels with tacky, but oh so amazing, accessories.

I'm really loving what Darling have in stock at the minute, it's all so elegant and beautiful and i had a hard time choosing my favourite pieces from them. In the end I chose both the skirt and blouse and decided to build the rest of the outfit around them.

I love fur coats (faux of course) and this light coloured one is both gorgeous and season appropriate, it is still freezing here in the UK after all. This is definitely an investment piece too as I'm sure once Summer has come and passed Autumn and Winter will see plenty more wear from a piece like this.
So, now that the main body of the outfit is dealt with, we can jump straight on in to accessories and the ones I've chosen couldn't be any less inkeeping with the elegant theme of the clothing if they tried. Lets talk bags first as that is inkeeping and it's beautiful. It's an offering from Paul's Boutique and the detailing is so pretty. Be sure to head to their site to have a closer look. Now onto my favourite bits, the quirky twist; I've chosen a bright, in your face pair of Dr. Martens for footwear. They may not be to everyone's taste but I love adding grungy touches to girly outfits and these tick that box for me and the ring was chosen based on a similar theory. What's prettier and more girly than a heart?! I love how it says "lets make out." I've actually seen it featured on a few blogs now but I'm perfectly happy with following the crowd on this occassion.

So that's it girls, and boys if you're out there, I hope you've been able to take something from my little Guest Post and it's been such a pleasure to do. EtailPR work with some lovely brands so make sure you head on over to all their sites and have a nosey. Enjoy the rest of your day, week, month, whatever and hopefully we'll speak soon!

Wednesday Wishlist: Ax Paris plus size

When I found AX Paris had a plus size range I was over the moon!! All of their clothes are amazing and such good quality! Everything in their range is truly beautiful and makes any girl feel special! AX Paris has such a diverse range and I can never ever decide on one thing! When I try on their clothes I always just feel so girly, pretty and lady like. The sizing of the products is always accurate and the materials sit well on us fuller figure ladies!
I have come up with two small collages to show you! The first one is for dressy wear, dinners, nights out with the girls and special occasions. I choose two dresses which I am in LOVE with at the moment! I feel as though spring is upon us we need to get some wear from all the lovely darker shades in our closets before the pastel tidal wave hits us! Also for special occasions who doesn’t feel gorgeous in black!
The first dress is totally eye catching and is truly as I said a ladies dress. The second one you could really rock it up with killer heels and a clutch and still look beyond stunning!!

    2. Stud Wedge Shoe €39.19
    3. Leopard Belt Chiffon Dress €58.80 now €41.99
    4. Coil Bangle €8.40

The second collage I want to share with you is something a little simpler. Clothes for everyday wear but items that you could still transform into something sleek and sexy for that special night out.
Dresses 1 and 4 from this collage are skater dresses something that for me personally really complement my figure and make me feel comfortable all the time. Anything leopard print is a winner in my books and belongs in my wardrobe. Number 3 are a cute little set of ankle boots with a tassel which you could wear with anything! Something, my shoe collection is severely lacking at the moment. The dresses number 2 and number 6 are just so cute. I really don’t see how any girl could turn these away. Cute bird and feather print give them that girly touch. Lastly the Heart jumper and statement necklace, perfect for lunch with the girls or a day in college.

    1. Collar Button Front Dress €42 now €27.99

Wedneday Wishlist by London & Coffee

This weeks Wednesday Wishlist is featuring the brand Motel, this shop has an immense number of amazing pieces with an edgy, on-trend style! It's really worth having a look at and spending lots of money!
The wishlist could be labelled as "Dark Vibes" because it creates a rather gloomy athmosphere consisting of black smoke print trousers, studded biker jackets and skirts as well as a monochrome top.

What do you think of these pieces and of Motel in general?
Do you like the rather darkish feeling or do you prefer light colours?

    Wednesday Wishlist - by ashllyd.com

    4. bag

I chose the fun, slightly dangerous, upbeat and dangerous neon trend. I actually believe it or not, based the whole wishlist around the shoes which I have literally fallen head over heels in love with. They look super easy to walk in, comfortable and they'll go with just about everything in my wardrobe. Win win! I have seen a few people style neon coloured jumpers and I think the pink one on the Glamorous website is my favourite one I have come across. It looks super bright, statement but slouchy and soft at the same time. Together with the absolutely gorgeous skirt from Lashes of London and the lovely bag with the subtle splash of neon pink; I think this outfit would be perfect for any time of day. Now all I need is glorious payday to buy it all and a date night with my boy or maybe some friends who are free for cocktails in London!     - Ashllyd XO

Thank you so much to Ashleigh from Ashllyd.com for today's Wednesday Wishlist! Be sure to check out her blog, YouTube and Twitter.
